Bank Headquarters, Libya - 2012
Set on a footprint of 2,000 square metres with a maximum height of 15 storeys, the concept of a transitional plaza was reinterpreted to serve as the entrance to the headquarters. The square that introduces visitors to the building is partly enclosed with glass walls allowing for an overlap between exterior and interior lobby. The client's wish to express the bank's innovative and bold approach is interpreted in the building volume. Various massing options were drawn up for evaluation.
